Health and Wholeness > over Health and Wellness.

Health and Wholeness over Health and Wellness.

A paradigm shift for an industry that is in desperate need of a make-under.

WELLNESS IS WITHIN

We have commoditized wellness as a hashtag, a destination while forgetting that wellness is a journey of internal work considering the dynamic complexity of where we come from. Not just the people who advertise and tour it as the point of self-care

It does not come in a bottle, a moment, a person, guru, or a pill, but rather from the space to be seen as a WHOLE and sum of experiences, dynamic and not needing to be fixed.

BE YOU

Because of course the problem that has come with the title “wellness”, is the inherent belief that there is something wrong with us. That we are unwell. As a society, yes we are, but make no mistake, you do not need me to fix you.

I feel fortunate that for most of my career practice has centered around supporting humans finding their worth, rather than conspiring in the belief that they are broken or needing to be fixed.

That wellness was not outside of them but within them.

However, I too see the sickness within the system that encompasses health and wellness. This is also why I created my own way and path because even in my great privilege, I did not fit into the system of beliefs and processes of what becoming whole looked like.

I would prefer I might always feel that way in hopes of continuing to learn, but one thing I did discover very early on, as a human in healing, is that, when we discredit or forget to acknowledge one's trauma, pain, origin, we are bypassing the possibility of their wholeness and ability to heal themselves.

I was never broken or needed fixing. A work in progress.
