A PROPER SITTING ARRANGEMENT

Your surroundings have a considerable amount of impact on the quality of your work. Normally in offices, the professional decorum is maintained, unlike your house.

So the first thing on the list that you have to follow is to duplicate your workplace at home and make sure that it is properly managed and with aesthetics that gives off working vibes. Get yourself a clean and enough spaced room. Arrange for a study table and a good comfortable chair. Put up sticky notes on the sidewalls and hang a good wallpaper to add more to the professional look (it will also help you to look professional in video meetings etc).

STAY ORGANIZED

Everything scattered here and there will lower your spirits.

Cleaning it will be a constant tension throbbing in the back of your head. So start organizing from the beginning. Make pockets or boxes for each accessory you require for e.g. writing pens, papers, stapler, files etc.

If you are married, distribute the work evenly with your other significant one. Take turns on babysitting tasks and make sure you follow it sincerely. A healthy conversation and decided work distribution will go a long way for your both professional and personal life.

SETTING GOALS

At home, you are your own boss!

So take out 30 mins from your schedule and write down all your to-do tasks and at the end of the day go through it once again and tick the ones you achieved, Examining and documenting the work will make it easy for you to stay in the workflow.

A disorganized or unplanned work will constantly keep you under the black cloud.

Also, it's necessary to add breaks in between, working at a long stretch will burn you out. Don't exhaust yourself it will lower your productivity drastically.

In the end QUALITY MATTERS, not the QUANTITY.

EXPERTISE IN TECHNOLOGY

Learn about all the available resources to increase your yield. Google meet, Microsoft teams, zoom are some applications that will very well facilitate your video calls, meetings, etc.

Communicate with your IT team if you need any help. Set up a good wifi for uninterrupted work, if needed set up a VPN.

Don't do hard work, think out of the box!

THINK LIKE AN ENTREPRENEUR

Think like an entrepreneur.

Why? Because,

This pandemic has transformed every course of our lives-both as an individual and a community.

for example, India shows a tremendous downturn in its economy with a shocker of -23.9% GDP.

In such tight situations, practically every company is facing a financial crisis. So to keep your company from drowning. Work collectively and stay connected. Be a worthy part of the organisation!

The way you look at your commitments and responsibilities will define how long you and your company will survive.

Not just for your company but also for your personal growth, thinking like an entrepreneur will drive you to think creatively!
